THE SWEETEST BABY GIRL

I just can’t get over how precious this little girl is! Her parents brought her into my natural light studio just outside of Denver and she was an absolute angel for her entire session. She has the most gorgeously soft baby skin and a head full of beautiful, dark hair! She reminded me of a real life Snow White baby!

I love that her mom and dad coordinated in a pastel floral dress and light pink shirt too. It gave the session such a lovely cohesiveness that just radiates the joy they have for their new daughter.

I hope this gorgeous family enjoy these images for generations to come…

BIG BROTHERS WELCOME A BABY SISTER TO THE FAMILY

Newborn sessions are always such a sweet experience but when there are older siblings involved they can be even more special. It’s such a beautiful opportunity for a family to get current portraits of every child in the family along with gorgeous images of the children together and an updated family portrait to show off the new baby. Part of the beauty of doing this type of a session in the studio is that it gives the older kids a safe place to play and run around while we get images of the baby alone without parents having to worry.

This lucky baby girl showed up with her two amazing big brothers and it was so fun to work with them! Hannah was an absolute angel and slept so perfectly for me to get some images of her alone and with the boys. What a treasure for this family to have such sweet images of their three kids together like this! They are so incredibly cute and I love that I got some fun images of the boys showing me their true personalities too!

I’m so grateful that I was able to document this wonderful but fleeting time for this lovely family!

THE SWEETNESS OF THE 3 MONTH MILESTONE

3 month sessions aren’t as popular for a milestone session as a 6 month or 1st birthday session is but I love when families choose to capture this sweet stage. It’s such a different session from when they were tiny newborns and also from when they are sitting up and starting to crawl. Many babies are holding their heads up and amazing little personalities are starting to emerge. 3 month sessions are filled with precious little smiles, snuggles and amazing facial expressions.

Jackson and his family came to the studio for portraits and as always, I asked the whole family to be a part of the session. He and his big brother are SO CRAZY CUTE and I had such a wonderful time getting to know them. From some quiet, love filled moments to some silly games to get big brother involved, we were able to create some beautiful memories for this lovely family of four.

WHY YOU SHOULDN’T WAIT TO SCHEDULE A MATERNITY SESSION

Have you ever been jealous of someone else’s photos? I’m honestly jealous that I don’t have images like this from my first pregnancy. I missed my opportunity to have a studio newborn session because I waited too long to schedule my session and my son was born 2 1/2 weeks early - exactly 1 day before my maternity photos were supposed to have happened. There’s definitely no do-overs on a maternity session after the baby is born. I learned from my mistake and booked my own maternity session for our 2nd child WAY in advance but I’ll never be able to go back and have images of myself while I carried my son. Now I make sure to educate my clients on when to book so that they don’t make the same mistake I did.

It makes me really happy that I can help to make sure other new moms get the experience and the images that I didn’t. Working with Alejandra and Lucas to capture the images they wanted to remember this special time while she carries their baby was so wonderful. They are the absolute sweetest couple. When we first spoke, Alejandra told me she loved that my style is natural and looks effortless - such a sweet compliment! I am so excited that she chose me to document her pregnancy and their baby’s first year. Be on the lookout for many more images from this beautiful family as their little one grows!

Alejandra’s first dress is one of my favorites from my current client wardrobe by Nothing Fits But. This session also features a vintage Oscar De La Renta robe that is available for my clients’ use.

FIRST LOOK AT BABY’S STUDIO NEWBORN SESSION

I met the most gorgeous family recently in my natural light filled studio in Centennial. They brought their beautiful baby girl and her two big brothers to the studio for a newborn session. I’m so excited to share this little glimpse into my time with them! I just delivered their gallery and it’s filled with so many beautiful, light and airy family and newborn images.

I made sure to get all of the special groupings that a family with 3 children would want. Images of each child individually, all of the siblings together, both parents with the kids and of course, the whole family together. This darling girl is going to have an amazing time growing up with two older brothers who already adore her.

AND THEN TWO BECAME THREE…

This family has my heart. They are the sweetest, kindest, most down to Earth people and I was so grateful when they chose me to photograph their baby girl’s first year. One of my favorite things about having a natural light studio is that all of the images from the course their membership - from maternity through baby’s first birthday and beyond - will all be cohesive and blend beautifully next to each other whether they are in an album or hung on a wall in their home. Baby Sivan was such a dream during her session. She was so content and relaxed in her parents arms and when she would stir she would make the sweetest little faces! We were able to document everything we had planned and then some and I’m so in love with the final results. These images are filled with love and emotion and will be treasured by loved ones in their family for generations to come.
