MY FAVORITE KIND OF SESSION

It’s funny how often people ask me what my favorite kind of session is. I love all the session types I offer but if I had to pick my VERY favorite I have to go with the 6 month/sitting up milestone session. One scroll through this post makes it pretty clear why this session is so amazing. The personality, expressions, snuggles and OH. MY. THE. ROLLS!!! The growth since these darling little ones were newborns is amazing and documenting all these delicious details along with adorable outfits and even their most cherished stuffed animal is just the sweetest thing. It was such a sweet surprise when Sivan showed up with her treasured Jellycat stuffed bunny. Jellycat has been a staple in our house since my son was just a few weeks old. Both of my kids have their special Jellycat “mousie” and I love seeing the tradition continue for family’s I adore.

I’m so in love with beautiful Sivan and the gorgeous images from her latest session!

MY FIRST NEWBORN OF 2023

If my first newborn this year is any indication of how wonderful 2023 is going to be, I’m going to have the most amazing year ever! Darling Nico was so perfect and content and made my job feel so easy.

Getting to know his parents has been a joy and I can’t wait to watch this beautiful little boy grow!

2022 ended with a busy few months full of photography sessions, time with family celebrating the holidays and planning for the months ahead!  I have some very exciting news I’ve been waiting to share with you…

I JUST OPENED A BRAND NEW STUDIO!

Important to know:

- I'm sharing this information here before I share with the public or on social media - you really are the first to know!

- If you've had a studio session with me since 2020, I'm in the same wonderful building in Centennial, just off of C470 & Quebec

- fully renovated, 1300 sq. ft. studio 

- all white and filled with stunning natural, northern light

- Beautiful, new furniture options

- Private dressing & nursing room with changing table

- Client wardrobe on site

- Private bathroom inside the studio

- Custom kitchenette featuring complimentary drinks & snacks

- Comfortable sitting/lounge area  

- Safe, private & convenient

- Ample free parking & easy access

- 5 minutes from Park Meadows Shopping Center

four days new

I try to always leave space in my schedule to accommodate last minute sessions so I was thrilled when sweet Megan contacted me and I had one spot for the very next day available. Megan and Dustin are the ultimate rock star parents. Not only did they walk in with a 4 day old newborn and gorgeous big brother ready to go, they were relaxed, happy and a complete joy to work with!

Baby Jack was a total dream to photograph. It’s been a while since I had a baby under a week old in the studio and it was so amazing! I know how hard it is to imagine getting yourself dressed and ready with hair and makeup so soon after you’ve had a baby but it’s so worth it to get images while your baby is so new! Tiny, squishy and sleepy, I’m not sure he woke up the entire time we were together.

It was such an honor to create these memories for this sweet family!

A PERFECT BABY GIRL

It was such a joy to be chosen to create newborn photos for this darling girl and her family. Every once in a while a baby comes in for their session and you can just tell that they are an old soul. Sweet Juniper was so calm and at just days old had a very special presence about her.

She was so content that we were able to include 4 different outfits during her session, including the coziest Plant Dyed Sleep Gown and everyone’s favorite Chunky Sweater from the beautiful creators at The Simple Folk. I love the beautiful variety these simple newborn pieces provide to their finished gallery and help to create the sweet, timeless images I strive to give my tiniest clients.
