Jack's Lucky Day | Centennial Studio Newborn
WITH GRATITUDE
November is a month where I make finding things to be grateful for a daily habit. As each day marches toward Thanksgiving, I feel more and more, well… thankful. It’s one of those habits that gets easier to do the more you do it. And I’ve found that the more I make a point of finding things to be grateful for, the happier I am. It can be something as simple and catching myself being grumpy as I work on the 14th load of laundry for the week and reminding myself that my huge amount of laundry means I have a home filled with a husband, kids and dogs that I love. And just like that, the laundry feels like less of a chore and more of a privilege.
One of the things I’m feeling especially grateful for lately are my clients. The kindest, most lovely people have always had a way of finding their way into my studio and life and I’m eternally grateful for that. The trust that they put in me to document these irreplaceable moments for their family is never taken for granted. When clients open up and trust me to create art with them… that is when the true magic seems to happen.
