TIMELESS AND MODERN DENVER MATERNITY PHOTOGRAPHY

I’ve always believed that the universe has a way of guiding people who are meant to know each other together. Whether it’s by being introduced by a mutual friend, having our children be placed in the same classroom, on the same sports team or simply by someone choosing me to be their photographer after feeling a connection to my work, I’ve been so fortunate to have met and become friends with the most wonderful people in my lifetime. I’m especially grateful when I’m one of the few people that are invited in to share important moments in their lives, like a pregnancy, newborn baby or milestone session for my clients. These are truly once in a lifetime experiences for families and I’m honored to be a part of their journey through parenthood. The trust and connection that is essential between the people I photograph and myself is what allows me to create honest, emotive images and deep down I know that wouldn’t be possible if I wasn’t working with the most genuinely amazing humans.

I feel so fortunate that Sarah found my work on Google and reached out for her maternity session. She brought her sweet mom with her to my studio and it was so lovely to have her there and learn about their family that day. I’m completely obsessed with how this session turned out. From the soft light and the minimalistic studio to the gorgeous flowing dresses and Sarah’s perfect hair and makeup, everything came together to create simple, clean images with a focus mama and her connection to her precious baby growing away inside of her. A mentor of mine recently gave me the loveliest compliment when he said that my images are both timeless and modern – and I think this session is the perfect example of what I work so hard to create.
